Goal of the training
Biomethane trading requires a solid understanding of both ISCC EU requirements and market dynamics. This English-language training focuses specifically on the trading stage after biomethane production and provides traders with the practical knowledge needed to operate in compliance with ISCC EU requirements and make informed commercial decisions. Participants will learn how topics such as PoS and PoC, mass balancing, carbon intensity and market-specific requirements affect compliance, market access and the commercial value of biomethane and bio-LNG.
Who is this training for?
This training is specifically designed for professionals involved in the trading, procurement and sales of biomethane and bio-LNG, including biomethane and bio-LNG traders, environmental commodity traders, commercial professionals and business development specialists. What is new in this edition?
The training has been fully renewed (Q3 2026) with a stronger focus on practical application, interaction and current market developments. Participants receive a pre-reader in advance covering the essential theory, allowing us to spend less time on the basics during the training and more time on practical cases, discussion and participant-specific questions. The renewed programme goes deeper into PoS requirements, bio-LNG and differences between European markets, while making a stronger connection between compliance, market eligibility and commercial value.
For participants who attended a previous edition, the programme therefore offers new and updated content with more practical application and broader market coverage
